Recovery for Substance Use Disorder

The integrated office-based Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program at Core Physicians offers patients who struggle with substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) the opportunity to receive medication to help in their recovery journey within the setting of a primary care office.

A combination of medication, peer support, education and behavioral therapies is effective in the treatment of SUD and OUD, and can help many people begin and sustain recovery. Our MAT Program connects patients with several FDA-approved medications including buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone), naltrexone for extended-release injectable suspension (Vivitrol) and oral naltrexone to assist in the treatment of opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder.

Our Medication Assisted Treatment Program includes:

  • Services coupled with primary care in many convenient locations
  • Integrated behavioral health support at Exeter, Stratham and Portsmouth locations
  • Ability for both in-person and virtual visits

You or your loved one may qualify for Core’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program if you are struggling with opioid or alcohol dependence, motivated to stop using and have a stable and safe environment where you can sustain your life in recovery.

To see one of our prescribers, please talk to your Core Primary Care Provider (PCP). If you do not have a Core PCP, please call 603-775-0000 to speak with our new patient welcome team. We promote health and wellness and will always respect your need for privacy and confidentiality.
